Queueing-Based and Data-Driven Design of Emergency Transportation sponsored by ISTRC (The Israeli Smart Transportation Research Center)
Services
This study examines Emergency Vehicle Fleet (EVF) design optimization using queueing theory to balance idle vehicle costs against service wait times. The research proposes a novel hierarchical fleet deployment model that considers key performance metrics like response times and fleet capacity. The methodology is validated using real-world datasets and aims to contribute to zero transportation externalities in smart cities
