Dr. Sharon Gat
Dr. Sharon Gat is a senior researcher and lecturer, leading the Flow and Energy specialization at the School of Mechanical Engineering. Her doctoral research focused on enhancing heat transfer through liquid-liquid phase separation.
Previously, she served as a lecturer at Tel Aviv University and currently supervises graduate students in energy and energy efficiency. Her research spans heat transfer, thermodynamics, energy system management, air conditioning systems, and alternative fuels, collaborating with both Israeli and international research institutions.
Dr. Gat is a technical expert consultant at HT-Bio-imaging Ltd. and a member of the Microturbine Committee at MMI. Additionally, she previously managed a laboratory and specialized in developing analytical methods within the IDF’s technological intelligence unit.
