Academic Background
Dr. Armon received her BS in Computer Science at Winona State University in Minnesota in 1989, and her PhD in Computer Science from Duke University in 1997. She was a lecturer at the University of California, Riverside in the Computer Science Department, teaching classes in Programming Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms. Dr. Armon has been at Afeka College of Engineering since 2013, where she teaches, supervises student projects, and coordinates a faculty research group in Autonomous Robotic Vehicles. As of October 2016, Dr. Armon heads the School of Software Engineering, which confers BSc degrees in Software Engineering and MSc Degrees in Intelligent Systems.
Professional Background
Dr. Armon has over 15 years of industry experience in software development and software project management in the areas of multi-discipline integrated physics-based analysis of space systems, large scale mission and safety critical software, and advanced cost modeling for top level acquisition planning.
