An interview with Dr. Anat Ratenovski, the Head of the Medical Engineering Department at Afeka College.
Oxygen saturation in the blood is a crucial index in characterizing physiological and pathological states. This index is based upon an optical test that differentiates between Medical Engineering and combines the basics of engineering and medical science, in order to come up with advanced technological solutions for medical needs. These needs include the development of advanced medical engineering instrumentation for medical diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. The Program trains engineers to propose technological solutions to needs emanating from medical complexity.
