Afeka Supports the Home front and the Front lines

Since October 7, 2023, we find ourselves in the midst of one of the most challenging periods in Israel's history. Afeka believes in the power and national mission of engineering, science, and technology. As in routine times, and especially during these days, Afeka harnesses its expertise to assist Israel's residents by offering a range of initiatives, activities, workshops, and services supporting both the home front and front lines: from hosting schools; enrichment lectures providing respite during emergency times; engineering activities and workshops for children and youth; engineering consultation and assistance for businesses and entrepreneurs; to a hackathon involving hundreds of developers and public advocacy professionals seeking technological solutions for Israel's public diplomacy challenges. These activities take place in our protected and comfortable campus facilities or, upon request, in the Greater Tel Aviv area, delivered through our faculty members, students, alumni, and our industry and research networks.

Wartime Emergency Fund

40% of Afeka's students currently serve in military reserves. This 10 million ILS fund provides critical support to critical financial, emotional, and academic support to all students affected by the war. Afeka has contributed the initial 5 million ILS with additional donations welcomed.
