The weight of the equipment that infantry unit soldiers must carry when conducting their missions has increased over the past few years.
This has lead to the need to provide assistance for carrying the equipment, while maintaining the soldier’s operational capabilities. A UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) type model was developed and full simulation was carried out under, over, across and through various types of topographical conditions and obstacles. The project was presented and earned accolades at the Student Projects Session at the previous INCOSE Conference.
