As we begin this academic year, our nation continues to face unprecedented challenges. The events since October 7th have left deep wounds in Israeli society, and our hearts remain heavy with grief for those we've lost, concern for our soldiers on the frontlines, and hope for the return of our hostages. The impact of this war has touched every corner of our society, including our own Afeka community.

Yet even in these difficult times, education remains a powerful force for renewal. By continuing our academic mission, we not only maintain a sense of normalcy but also demonstrate our unwavering commitment to Israel's future. At Afeka, we believe that training the next generation of engineers, computer scientists, and data scientists is crucial to our nation's technological leadership and economic resilience.

More than 3,500 students will be pursuing their academic education at Afeka this year, many while actively serving in the reserves or having just returned from service. Their dedication exemplifies the remarkable spirit and resilience of Israel's young generation. As these students graduate and enter the high-tech industry, they will be instrumental in driving our country's recovery and growth.
