The first stage of construction will include four academic buildings (16,160 m2), publicly accessible commercial spaces and a city square constructed for the local community and which will also lead into the main entrance to the campus. Outdoor spaces will serve as an extension to indoor learning spaces. All four buildings open onto a central plaza where formal or informal gatherings can take place. Multi-level rooftops will be transformed into alternative outdoor learning spaces, that can also serve for future expansion of the indoor spaces. A wide range of outdoor areas will be either completely public or fenced and semi-public. The main academic spaces will be fenced but transparent to passers-by. An underground parking lot will also be included in the initial construction phase. Future construction will include additional academic buildings and student dormitories.
